Repertoire:  

Mark's repertoire consists mainly of songs written in the traditional style by people such as Peter Bond, Bernie Parry, Keith Marsden and also the odd song from the 30's and 40's.

He has been singing songs from Lancashire that Harry Boardman reintroduced in the sixties and seventies and were the subject of a recent CD "A Mon Like Harry".

The publication "Manchester Ballads" edited by Roy Palmer and Harry Boardman was the subject of a CD of the same name by Mark and Chris Harvey of Cock Robin Music

Over the past few years, Mark has been in collaboration with Sid Calderbank and Chris Harvey in presenting music and poetry from the Lancashire heritage at various North West festivals

"Ode to the Gooseberry Grower" sung by Mark was featured on the BBC TV coverage of the Royal Horticultural Society show from Tatton Park 2007
